Editorial Governance

Editorial Governance

Current status: Dog Tumor does not currently present a named veterinary editorial board. Content carrying the Dog Tumor Editorial Team byline has received an editorial source and content check; it must not be read as independent peer review or review by a licensed veterinarian unless a separately named and verified veterinary reviewer is shown.

How responsibility is recorded

  • The publishing account, editorial review scope, review date and next scheduled review date are recorded separately.
  • Sources are linked where available, and manufacturer information, external research, clinic listings, community submissions and product sales remain visibly distinct content types.
  • Corrections can be requested through the Contact page. Please include the exact URL and the statement or source that needs review.
  • Commercial relationships, product sales and voluntary support do not purchase publication, ranking or a particular editorial conclusion.

Veterinary participation

Dog Tumor may invite expressions of interest from licensed veterinarians and other appropriately qualified contributors. No person will be listed as a board member or veterinary reviewer until identity, relevant credentials, role, consent and conflicts have been verified and the scope of that person’s review can be stated accurately.

Editorial education cannot diagnose, prescribe or replace examination and care from a licensed veterinarian.
