A 2024 multicentre retrospective study described outcomes in cats with high-grade or large-granular-lymphocyte alimentary lymphoma treated with COP- or CHOP-based chemotherapy. That study is a disease-specific feline cohort, not proof that COP and CHOP are equivalent for every lymphoma or species.

Safety notes

Cyclophosphamide can cause marrow suppression and sterile haemorrhagic cystitis; vincristine can cause gastrointestinal or neurologic toxicity and severe tissue injury after extravasation; glucocorticoids have metabolic, immune and gastrointestinal effects. Risks overlap with concurrent medicines and comorbid disease.
